“The aim of this section is to demonstrate that at times we disobey and we wish to
illustrate what happens when we go our own way.”
Passage:
Luke 15: 17-24
1. What did the prodigal son do, when he knew he had gone his own way.
a) Accepted he has missed it. (v18)
b) He was willing to turn from his way and go to his father.
c) He was sorry for what he had done and to his father.
“Relate this to our situation when we disobey
God - we must do the same as the prodigal son - go to God and be
sorry for the things we have done, apologise to people we have
offended and ask God to forgive us.”

What did the father do?
a) Was very happy that his son returned.
b) Forgave him.
c) Accepted him and prepare a feast.
God promised that he will forgive us when we turn to him and he is very pleased
when we return to him.
“Give child opportunity to repeat.”
