God forgives us because he loves us. He sent his son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

 Passage: 1 john 1:1-10, 1 John 2:1-2 11-17  
“Emphasise that God can forgive us because his son Jesus had died for us. His blood cleanses us from all sins. No matter what we have done, he forgives us and we become white as snow.” 
“If child also repented in last lesson, assure him/her of the forgiveness that God has given to them. And if the child has done anything bad (naughty) since then, he/she can ask God for forgiveness. If child didn’t repent in last lesson, give him/her another opportunity.”
